Google Pixel x Annie Leibovitz "Face Forward"
Photographer Annie Leibovitz embarked on a series of portraits, shot exclusively on Google’s new Pixel 4 – portraying individuals who are changing the landscape of their time. From an environmental caretaker, to an army officer, to an equal justice lawyer, Leibovitz encounters her subjects in the places they live & work and are inspired into action.
The campaign highlights extraordinary people who are defined by their fierce desire to make the world a better place, no matter how daunting the obstacles. Each shoot was filmed by Kathryn MacLeod (also a creative producer on the project) and edited by Matte, using additional interview footage, to create 12 cinematic edits about Leibovitz’s process & stories from the wide range of change-makers.
